are saying, see the Hicks commit and the subsequent Macfarland announcement.

I know we have discussed ad nauseum, but that can't be good on the Jackson.

We need an update from TSD or Scarborough pretty soon, or I may go into freak out mode.

I knew when I saw the commits from Hicks and Claiborne we must have received bad news from the recruits in for the LSU-Bama game..............guess they figured it was time to go to the B list.

TSD has said that Hicks has nothing to do with McFarland. We were looking for at least 2 DT's and a DE. Hicks can fill both roles. Hicks did not come out of the blue like some have suggested. On several occasions Sonny mentioned the possibility of a JUCO lineman. Two guys were mentioned, Hicks was one of them. We wouldn’t have taken both, but it was a one or the other type thing.

Didn't Miles say he wanted 2 CBs in this class? Pretty sure he did. It would suck balls to lose JJ too, hes a top 25 prospect IMO.

I think so. And Claiborne makes 2 CB's.

I'm kind of wondering if Hicks didn't scare off McFarland.

I would hope he's tuned in, I mean he is the coach.

McFarland had enough class to call Les and let him know that we were being dropped due to our great and knowledgeable fan base.

FWIW, we're not hearing much on JJ. I'd really be surprised if he didn't end up at LSU.

I read an article where McFarland said he was going to either Tx or Ok because they gave him the best opportunity to play early.LSU had too much depth at his position according to McFarland.

McFarland dropped LSU because of the fanbase? I could have sworn he said it was because of PT.
