I'm going to be driving my '02 Dodge RAM until it falls completely apart. I can't justify paying new truck prices these days.

I bought a 3500 GMC new in 2014. I needed that much truck at the time to drag a 20 foot decoy trailer. I no longer need that much truck and about 2 years ago decided I was going to sell it and buy another...and like most idiots I started looking at new trucks before I put mine on the market. The dealer I bought it from offered me what I paid for it. A then 6 year old truck with about 65K miles on it and a dealer is willing to pay me what I paid for it new...I was suspicious until I got serious about buying a new truck...then I saw the light. The difference in prices for similar equipped half ton trucks was $35K more than I paid. I have since decided that this is probably the last truck I ever buy and will simply fix it when it needs it. I may be an idiot but I ain't no fool...

You don’t need to write an essay in response to every post in a thread.
