All CVTs are not the same. Honda makes their own in-house and they are fine from a reliability standpoint.
Nissan uses Jatco CVTs and they are not reliable.

From all indications I have seen, Nissan is the Chrysler / Fiat of the Asian automakers.
Kind of makes sense in a way given that assholes driving domestic tend to be in a Charger or Challengers while assholes driving foreign are generally in a Nissan or Kia.
