Echelon was called White Columns when it first opened. I was a club pro in that area then.
Fantastic track, but I was under the impression it had gone private. If not, definitely add this one to my list.

Echelon Golf club opened years after White Columns…white columns has definitely been around longer
Echelon is semi-private so you can get a tee time…it’s still a great track!!

Nope, they are two different courses. White Columns is still around and is private, Echelon was private and is now semi-private but allows public play. Echelon was the course built for the Georgia Tech team. It went bankrupt once and was sold for pennies on the dollar to a. Private individual. Both are really nice courses. The only problem with Echelon is people don't know how to fix a ball Mark in the greens.
