NO! About the 3rd inning, the RANT was saying he needed to hit the pine because he didn't/couldn't block a pitch in the dirt.

3+ runs at the plate every weekend series is well worth what he gives up behind the plate.
However, if that ratio shifts in postseason, then I hope coach pushes the right buttons. Until then, let him hit.

Not to mention we gave up a defensive run to keep him at the plate in the 8th and he drew a walk to make it not a waste.

6-3 235 lb Travenski is hitting for sure. But ole JJ says the 5-8 dude who was playing high school last year gives us a professional at bat.
