yeah, schemes matter, but the tape doesn't lie either. Look at the highlights of Smith, he flies to the ball with excellent speed, he makes plays, he puts pressure on a QB, RB or whoever has the ball in the backfield. He's young and teachable and will only get better as a pro as he matures, with the speed he has I wouldn't be surprised to see him develop coverage skills.
