Story I want to share that's kind of about music, but not entirely, been on my mind

a few days.
I've mentioned a local guitar builder on here before.
As long as I've known him, he's been almost completely deaf. I've wondered a lot how he could build such great guitars? He couldn't even play very well.
He recently got one of the ear implant things, where they put the wire into the side of your head.
Well, I ran into him the other day, and we were able to talk more than we ever have before.
He was checking out my Epiphone Frontier and really liked it. He sat down and tried it out. He did Mark Chesnut's Old Country and nailed it.
It was freakin awesome.

Nice story. Good on that dude. I wonder if he could feel the vibration in the wood and be able to hone in on something that would make the guitar better or worse.

I intend to be askin him about that type of stuff, if I can figure out a polite way to do it.
