I-10/Calcasieu River project

This bridge replacement project includes separate east and west segments of I-10 between the two I-210 interchanges for the purpose of three-laneing the existing highway.
Recently LADOTD told me that the environmental study has not been done, suggesting that it had to be completed first. Do any of you have an idea of when the acquisition phase will begin given that some funding has finally been granted?

Last I heard, they’re planning to replace the i10 bridge in LC in 1997

Acquisition would require spending money beyond the funds taken by the corrupt Louisiana political system... So never unless the feds try to once hold them accountable.
