I have watched several non-LSU games, and the umpires are consistently bad all over the country. Not quite sure what to attribute that to, but it’s happening outside of BR.

No, it definitely is everywhere. And it’s not just the SEC. The SEC is definitely noticed more because it has a bigger fan base and also more opportunities to see on television. But it is definitely the worse I have seen throughout college baseball. EVER!
I still haven’t heard of anyone flat out say that the balls were changed this year. Can anyone say that they have?
I really think a lot of the reasoning homeruns are being hit at an elevated rate this year….. is because umpires strike zone is piss poor.
