Nice try here but you’re not an attorney who specializes in employment law, so don’t misrepresent your expertise.

I’m not either but I’m smart enough to not claim expertise in this area. The OP could be in Canada or California, for all we know.

I’m just looking for clarity and I’m not an expert.

I read his situation as he was a consultant under contract and that one contract termed and the next one was never signed.
