"It should be caught and Brayden will tell you that," LSU coach Jay Johnson said. "He's been better out there this year and I don't know if last year he would have gotten to the point where he could've even got to the ball and make the play. It's a tough one - I'd like to think if you catch that ball - it's a lot different game.” Is this an attack? Just curious…

Is this really a genuine question? Clearly, objective criticism, or a fan venting frustration about a missed play is fine. When it comes to calling a player trash, hurling personal insults and the like due to the missed play, it’s pathetic and out of line. Anyone who does it should be perma-banned.

And, by the way, if someone is so invested in a game that they are trashing a kid who plays for the team they’re supposedly such a big fan of, that person should probably step back and reevaluate their life and what’s really important.

Not at the fans but as this site for all of the shitting they did on Paul when he made comments like this.

I could not agree more with this from a personal position of a player and an Ump for a long time. We are human and we all mistakes every single day.

One play did NOT lose that game.

One AB did not lose that game.

One missed or bad call by an Ump did NOT lose that game.

It is and always will be the culmination of MANY MANY little things that make a big difference in 98% of baseball games.
