Byrd deserves a break

Disagree.

He seems to be almost pouting because a bad year at QB is ruining his chances for the draft. Does that sound like a team player?

That's hwy JUCO's are such a gamble. That being said, I think D Byrd will be back to normal in the last three games.

There is nothing worse than being stupid, and Byrd is or is acting like he is stupid. If he is worried about his draft status and stats to boost it, he is stupid. All he has to do is show up at the combine/pro day, and run his 4.3. The NFL coaches, GMs, scouts know how to evaluate prospects. They see his time and an interest is peaked. They will look at his #s for the year and say,"Wait a second, he had shitty #s this year and good #s and clutch grabs last year." Then they will soon find out that the RS Fr QB throwing to him struggled mightily all year. Then Byrd isn't all to blame for those bad #s. But here is where being STUPID comes into play. Byrd seems like your typical frontrunning WR. Last year, "Can't see me!" This year, "Can't see me cause I am mailing it in!" Don't think NFL guys won't get wind of his behavior and then have character issues affect his draft status. He just needs to shut up and be patient.
