re: How big of a hit did Bud Light take on the new campaign?

I think it’s too early to tell. But that doesn’t mean this campaign wasn’t a huge mistake, here’s why…
1. What number of people who didn’t drink Bud Light before this campaign did so because they had not yet celebrated trans/gay culture?
2. Of those people who didn’t drink Bud light for the reasons stated in point #1, how many of them will going forward start drinking Bud Light?
3. Of the people who did drink Bud Light before this pro trans/gay campaign, how many will going forward stop drinking Bud Light and instead start drinking one of their rivals?
(Let’s face it, there is nothing distinctive about the taste of Bud Light compared to other brands like Miller Lite, Coors Lite, etc. so it would not be difficult for drinkers to switch brands)
The answer to these questions is what’s going to determine the wisdom of this move.
