He isn’t even remotely a close comparison to Klay IMO
Year two Klay (35.8 min/game)
16.6 pts, 3.7 rbs, 2.2 assists, 1 stl, 0.5 blks, .422 FG%, .401 3pt%, .841 ft%
Year two Trey (30.9 min/game)
14.5 pts, 3.6 rbs, 1.4 assists, 1.1 stl, 0.6 blks, .482 fg%, .408 3p%, .907 ft%
It’s a decent comp. Klay was one of the best shooters in the game. Trey is right there already in year 2. Trey has a ways to go on defense, but his length gives him the opportunity to be a very versatile and valuable defender.
He is not Klay, but Klay provides a hopeful path of progression for what Trey could become.

His skills remind me of Buddy Hield.

This. Durant wasn’t that great on D to begin with either. Not saying Trey is Durant at all but both were lanky and long and Durant eventually become a good defender
