re: What to do around Montrose/Gunnison, CO

That drive from Ouray to Silverton is sketchy for an actual highway. I drove it two winters ago in the snow late at night and this year just late at night. At night you wonder what there is to be afraid of in that black abyss. During the day you can see it, specially the roadway without any foundation underneath.

OP, Gunnison area is awesome. CB, Salida, Buena Vista, etc. lots to do.
