Was it distasteful to seemingly track down your opponent to mock her? Yes.

Is trash talking something that happens in the heat of competition that can sometime lead to irrational behavior? Also yes.

Baseball players pimp HRs or flex on strikeouts all the time. Basketball players trash talk. Football players trash talk. At 40 years old will Reese feel differently about what she did at 20 years old? Maybe. That's called maturity. We all look back and regret some of the things we did when we were younger.

But the SINGULAR reason this faux controversy has blown up is because it provides the media/social media an opportunity they are DESPARATE for in 2023...to inject racism into a conversation.
