Not necessarily. Once those blackberry stalks get bigger around than your little finger and/or more than 4 ft tall, they’re only useful around the edges for browse. Inside you’ll find songbirds and rabbits. If you have old pasture that has a large percentage of this, it needs to be set back. Deer won’t use it and turkeys dang sure won’t.
