I guarantee all the ranters who proclaimed " I haven't gone to the PMAC in "x" number of years, but now that John Brady got fired i'm getting season tickets" will be there.

With a dollar per ticket offer- this is truly sad

I know Brady is trashed and blamed on the rant but the athletic dept must share the blame for mishandling the whole program including hiring and firing and allowing LSU politics to dictate-

I don't think Aleva will be any change from the past

i think its gonna be pretty packed, with $1 tickets, a new coach, and everyone already being on campus for the football game i think there will be a good sized crowd

800. Sorry the new guy doesn't impress me. I don't think anybody's very excited about him or what he's done off the court so far.

Would you please care to elaborate? Have you met the guy? I know the former players are stoked about the hiring and the way he's personally reaching out to program's storied past.

As far as attendance is concerned, it will be an interesting game. The LSU fanbase is very fickle when it comes to LSU basketball, and this game won't interest them very much. It's sad, but the fans don't get energized unless LSU's winning big or playing a big name opponent. John Brady turned off a lot of fans, and it's going to take time to mend those relationships. Not to mention that unless you are planning on going to the football game also, this game will likley be a pain in the arse to attend. I've talked to several LSU "fans" about attending the basketball game, and they said they just can't get into basketball yet because it's still football season.

Signed,

Louisville
Texas
Oklahoma
Tennessee
Arizona State
Miami
USC
Florida
Kansas
Ohio State
etc.

If these teams can be successful in both, there is no reason LSU can't do the same on a CONSISTENT basis.
