here is an LSU fan to fark !!!!

i have a image i made but i cant save it to the pictures folder (any advice), when i try and save it just shows up im gimp again.and the fox shows up in the pictures file but not the image

i would appreicate the help i am still a beginner in gimp, i will try and post it again the moring

If the image is finalized to your satisfaction, flatten the image, use "save as" and change the filetype to jpg. when you rename it.

I was thinking the same thing, troubl.

Probably could just Save As .jpg without flattening layers, just in case may want to go back and do more editing of layers later on, though.

Not sure if Gimp has a Save for Web and Other Devices like Photoshop, if so, this is best and easiest method to adjust size and quality of file to accommodate image host requirements.

I was stumped last night by the reference to the fox and was thinking, maybe firefox. Then this morning while lying in bed 1/2 awake, I have no earthly idea why, but the question from this thread popped into my mind and I remembered that the fox is Gimp's logo, which made me think about PS's .psd files have the PS logo, and then I was able to come to the above conclusion.

thanks for the help, it was trying to save as a xsf file or something like that and i just changed to to jpg
