I saw a recent interview, and he seemed like a really cool, normal guy. Never knew he went to be an EMT (in NYC, no less) later in life, despite having tons of money. Did it a couple years, because he respected that life and wanted to experience it firsthand.
And the discussion about touring contracts was both hilarious, and showed he was intelligent and thoughtful. They'd randomly toss in a line about requiring a bowl full of green M&Ms, or the contract was void and the arena would forfeit their take.
Said they put that in, because they had big pieces in their set, and arenas weren't meeting the requirements to have a safe show, just saying "yeah, come play here". Couldn't set the stage up right, couldn't power all the amps, etc.
So they started putting the M&M's clause in on page 3 or 4, to see if people even read the contracts. A few didn't
