My favorite is when they stop and shake down some poor soul on the side of the road just trying to catch a couple bream….most likely for dinner. Doing no harm.

My dad got disgusted at a game warden fussing at some kids who were innocently bank fishing in bayou segnette a few years ago. The warden was really being an a-hole towards them. Because they had no license or some horrible discretion. These were kids fishing (early teens or younger) and that is an activity that should be encouraged.

There’s just got to be some way to enforce the law, educating kids on the law, and not be an a-hole about it.

In MS if you’re 16 yrs old you don’t need a license. I think Louisiana is 18

The biggest peeve of mine is any LEO harassing people because he doesn’t know the actual law
