So, the T-55s will be target practice for the Bardleys.
Unless you think that's the strategy, get the Ukrainians to use up all their anti-tank ammo on dated vehicles.
Then it's a brilliant plan.

Until you realize NATO will continue to restock their supply of ATG ammunition indefinitely.

Russia is bringing hundreds of old tanks out of storage. Ukraine is getting about 60 BFVs.
Ukraine can't effectively use these vehicles.

It's a very good idea by Russia. They will still advance on their objectives, and they'll force Ukraine to use more and more ammunition, which Ukraine/US/NATO lack the ability to replace in a timely manner.
