Defund NPR
Not that simple. NPR doesn't actually receive direct federal funding but instead gets grants and such. But even then that just amounts to 2% of their budget. Honestly I'm not sure why they keep that still since it's so contentious and such a small amount of their budget overall.

I haven't looked in a few years but their budget is heavily dependent on "member stations"
Guess where "member stations" get their funding ?
It's how npr has lied to people for decades and said they don't receive much government funding. They have countless shell organizations to sleeve the money through.

Funding for NPR comes from dues and fees paid by member stations, underwriting from corporate sponsors and annual grants from the publicly-funded Corporation for Public Broadcasting.[5] Most of its member stations are owned by non-profit organizations,[6][7] including public school districts,[8] colleges,[9] and universities.[10]
Still public funding. Just not direct.

NPR receives funding for less than 1 percent of its budget directly from the federal government and receives 10% of its budget from federal, state, and local governments indirectly.

That said, whether directly or indirectly funded or that it’s only a small percentage of their budget is irrelevant.
Our tax dollars are funding an overtly bias left leaning propaganda network.
