Go to the Reef. It’s west of the Beau. That place is good and reasonably priced. You are right there on the water and the food is solid. That smoked tuna appetizer is so good I swing by there and get it to go. You want low key that’s good with a view there is your spot. I honestly thought oh boy this will be one of those tourist traps. I was wrong. It’s seafood oriented but has other items on the menu that even the finicky ones can find something they like. I slip in there and often sit at the bar and watch sports, eat some good food, then go hand the Beau Rivage my money. Even the gumbo is edible and that’s something I rarely ever say. Everyone living in Mississippi and Alabama along I-10 knows what I mean. It’s hard to find decent gumbo out of the state of Louisiana. Again, that smoked tuna dip is delicious.
