I'm not someone that cares all that much about when I get on the plane, as sitting inside the plane sucks anyway, but I find myself irrationally annoyed at these people too.

Every flight we got on last trip, we boarded with group 8 despite having paid for main cabin extra. It wasn't intentional - we thought all the people standing basically at the desk were in our same group as us and waiting to reach the front. Nope. They were the last boarding group just crowding so others can't get past them.
