I agree, sticker price kinda scary. But, I've boiled 12 or so times already in 2023 so I use it alot. And, likely this pot will last a really long time (at least I'd hope so).
If it truely does bring the water to a boil that fast, I would maybe give it a shot.
Pot and basket for the price. No burner.
