Quite possibly, yes. It pains me to say so, because I consider the United States to be the greatest democracy in western history. Unfortunately, many have turned away from individualism, merit, diligence, and excellence. Deeply ignorant and misguided people are trying to seize the reigns of power. They are simultaneously frivolous and menacing, like a diapered toddler brandishing a gun. I don't know how to reverse the trend. When you abandon basic precepts like fact and reason, you are lost.

Not saying you are wrong, but when hasn’t this been happening in America? In any country?
