The pitching around college baseball and, more specifically, the SEC was no where close to the same talent level in 1992-1994 as it is from 2021-2023.
18 year olds with great arms almost never made it to college in 1992. Todd Walker went through many SEC three game series only seeing one or two arms that even topped 90 mph.
