Crews and White have seen great dividends by both having an "up the middle" or "other way" approach lately.

Crews has for really most of the year. White more so lately. White was trying to pull it too much early on.

In the fall and spring White was at his best driving the ball to right center.

I never thought a RH hitter could make RF look small like White has

White is a big guy, and a lot of his power is pure muscle (nothing against his swing mechanics or anything like that)

So I think That shoulder injury fricked with him early on and he just now starting to get back to 100%

I thinK once Johnson got the green light that this wasn’t a serious injury he didn’t care how White hit, he wanted him to see pitches, but he probably started back before he was close to 100%

The same thing happened to Berry last year. These big time transfers come in and try and do too much early then when they finally settle down and start thinking middle away they start destroying the ball.
