Honestly, you need to book a puddle jumper for you and your wife.
Give the wifey a valium before you get to general aviation terminal at Nassau airport.
The 20-minute puddle jumper flight on a valium and your wife will instantly be a small plane flying mofo.
Honestly, there's actually a lot of excitement to be had flying on a 2-engine piper held together with bailing wire, masking tape, and seaweed, flown by a pilot dodging storm clouds left and right, up and down because he isn't IFR and his primary job is a conch harvesting free diver.

No lie, a couple trips down there ago we were stuck in Nassau and called Joel with Stella Maris to come pick us up. Sun was setting and usually they only fly at night in emergencies. Well we got him to come grab us, by they didn't have lights on the airstrip back on LI (they just recently got some though) so when we were 10 minutes out Joel called friends to line their cars up on edges of the runway with their headlights on. I love the islands so much
