This is exactly why the character was and continues to be played by a woman on the stage. Very rarely do you see a prepubescent boy leading a Broadway or West End production, so they have young women playing the role of Peter Pan. They are short, petite, lack body/facial hair and have a high voice - which are typically the traits you find in a 10-year-old boy.

bullshite. it's part of the woke agenda to give a role made for a male to a woman and push their progressive agenda
