As far as a good path to winning 3 games, I like it.

As far as a path to the Final Four goes, I don't like it.

Beyond SC, I've said all along that I think Indiana is clearly the 2nd best team (even though they lost in their tournament). I don't care who the other top seeds end up being (Stanford/Utah/Virginia Tech/Iowa), I think Indiana is a notch above all of them.

And I also don't think UConn stays at 3--they got a player back and they have flipped the switch and are kicking arse again in their tournament. If they beat Villanova tomorrow I think they are back on the 2-line, especially since their NET is top 4 and also since they have UConn on their jersey.

Who gets bumped from the 2-line if this happens? My guess is LSU. And this would be interesting because if LSU is the "best 3-seed", that would make them 9 overall and that spot on the S-Curve has them potentially matched up with South Carolina in the Elite 8. I really believe the committee will try to keep LSU and SC apart before the Final Four if they can.

So what would happen? The committee would probably bump LSU down to "2nd 3-seed" to avoid that from happening.

Let’s say that was the bracket. The first goal would be to take care of business in front of a big and noisy home crowd and defeat the winner of the Kansas-Creighton game. Last year’s team couldn’t get it done vs. Ohio State.

After that it is uncharted territory.
