Rangers, Black Hawks and even Stars fans would turn out.
Just like Falcons games.
But you are a Steelers fan so you likely don’t notice.

Roswell, Sandy Springs or Dunwoody would be much better and convenient than Alpharetta.

Like I've said above, attendance was never the issue here, it was the Atlanta Spirit being shitty owners.

There was a very loyal, small fanbase here that supported the Thrashers to the end. And there are a lot of hockey fans here, mostly on the North Side.

The original six teams and Canadian teams will do that in places like Florida, California or Vegas and treat it like as a vacation in warm weather. It won't be as big a problem in Atlanta.

You have to build a fanbase anyways. That will start with the transplants who will root for the Thrashers (or whatever they are called) except when the Thrashers play their original favorite team.
