The problem is parents trying to live their failures they their kids. Since Tiger Woods hit the scene every parent out there thinks their kid is the next up and comer. Kids playing by year around ball when every doctor out there says it bad for them.

Nephew did this and I kept telling my sister to let him play another sport but she wouldn’t listen. Got a college scholarship but quit his sophomore year after Tommy John surgery and shoulder surgery.

Doctor told them he had simply worn his arm out. He was also burned out. Sister figures she had spent nearly 50,000 over the years. Could have put him through school if she had invested it.

It’s all a money making scream for travel leagues , coaches and towns building huge parks to attractions tourism.
