Will be these last 3 games and how we play. This is the exact same situation that UA was in last year and lost the last 3 under Saban starting with ULM right after us. We have Troy so this is where it starts for us, the difference is that Miles isn't Saban and I truely believe we finish out 3-0 over the next 3 weeks and finish with a 10 win season afterthe bowl game.

These are the type of seasons that coaches truely earn there money and I think that Miles will, we knew that the potential to lose afew games was here this year and yet we are shocked that it happened. This will be a better team for having the loses we do and the way we lost them. I will be there loud a proud to support my team for the 3 remaining games and I firmly believe that they will be victories.

This is when LSU fans need to support there team more then any other.

It will be interesting to see how he motivates the team. Right now, many of the players seem listless as a result of the Bama loss.

I predicted 1 loss for the year (florida)

and LSU should not have lost to bama and UGA. period.

but i think with the losses, no one really expected teams to hang 50+ points of the defense (i know some points came from JLee)

that's what surprised me the most. Georgia and Florida putting up that many points.

You have remind the kids that there is still much to play for in terms of where the team starts next year in the ranking and how much harder it is to come from the bottom vs starting at or near the top. Also you have to remind these kids of the way it feels when you win and when you lose, if they are true competitors tehn they will know the difference and want to win these last 4 games(bowl game included) to finish off with a 10 win season.

Did you see this I posted earlier. A good read. Really similar to this year. 2004 Troy game.

Corndog, I agree with your analogy and agree 100% with your post. Most people thought we would finish the season with 3 loses after RP left. That's exactly where we stand.

If you would have asked me before the seaon, that is the record I would have gave. However, I did not think our defense would be this bad. I know they played well versus Bama, but Bama was the perfect offensive matchup for them. Bama doesn't have playmakers all over the field and they are a traditional down hill offensive team. Saying that, I think we lose one more game and end up with 4 loses. Ole piss is going to give our defense fits. They have play makers at every position on offense and a Coach that isn't conservative. Nutt also has had success against us with less overall talent than he has now, and going against much better deffenses from us. It wouldn't suprise me to see their O score over 35 against us. I do not think we lose to Troy, but I think a lot of people will be bitching next week at how their O ran all over the field on us. They are also a spread based team that will give us a ton of problems on D.

Other than thinking we lose one more than you, simply because of matchups, I thought You Nailed it..........

something is just not right with this team. i know we lost our qb last year, but we should not have been in that situation to start with. we are not where we should be. so many little things are problems and i really believe that it is coaching. i know what we have done and yes that is great but still...i just hope that i am wrong.

I think the team has lost faith in Jarrett Lee IMO.

Ummm...that's a pretty insane statement. What have you possibly seen that makes you think this staff has the slightest clue as to what they are doing??!! As long as Peveta and Mallories are on the staff, we are probably going to lose to Ole Miss. And that would be the low point of Miles tenure.

miles has done some really strange things since he has been here. for the most part they have worked out because we have been loaded. if things continue to implode we will not be able to pull off the cutesy crap off.

There is some finger pointing too...something I haven't seen since before Saban. Also what worries me is the looks on some of the kids faces on the sideline during the Bama game. Troublesome.

I do think you guys will win out, the rest of the season. However the reason we ('Bama) lost the last few games last year was the players, not the coach. We had some "bad apples"... some arse-hats that didn't buy in to Saban's gameplan. Those guys are all gone now. Saban's a good coach. Can't think of anyone I'd rather have.

The difference is that Saban was in his first year coaching a team with zero draft picks and had a lame duck OC.
Miles is in his 4th year coaching a National Championship team of All SEC and top draft pick players, and if he can't win with them...then who would he win with?

Miles isn't Saban indeed.

Saban didnt do a great job in 2004, a loaded team with no QB...if you have horrible QB options, there isnt much a coach can do.

I agree, but to compare the two situations is ludicrous.

All these posts have merit. Just don't wear blinders when you talk about Miles. He is not the guy that will lead LSU to a national victory ever again.

To the Bama fans... There is no way in hell an SEC team should ever lose to ULM, I don't give a shite how many draft picks or bad apples you have on your team. Bama is still Bama and should never lose to ULM just like Saban and LSU should NEVER have lost to UAB. Saban has lost a gimmie game every year and at some point he will again. Look at every team in the top half of the rankings and they all have 1 thing in common(Experience at the QB position) over the last few years you have had shite at QB and you have lost games because of it every year.

Now that part was for you and the rest will be for the LSU fans.

The coaching staff that is here now has won 40 football games, at some point you have to put some blame on players not making plays and coaches making the wrong call as a 50/50 blame game. "In the hat we trust" was what I heard 1000x after last year and now he's a hack.... can you say IGNORANT? While I don't like the 2DC system and think it will be changed after the season we still have to go with it for at least the next 4 games... So if you choose to bash them or pull for them is your decision but it will also show how little you realy know about this sport. Coaches best coaching jobs aren't always the NC seasons, being an athlete and being around coaches my whole life has taught me that.... I hope you learn it very soon as well.

Based on what? He did it last year and LSU has another great recruiting class coming in (sorry, we don't make up t-shirts for that like some schools do).
