On our company's Yammer page, an employee, a man, who is transitioning into a *woman* gets the jump on the ladies to announce the upcoming International Woman's Day. To ask for all teams to discuss equity, equality, tolerance, and allyship.

Several employees reply with how brave this person is, how they are an inspiration, blah, blah, blah.

One guy asks if he doesn't acknowledge this transition, or they point of view of those people will be regarded as bigoted, selfish, discriminative, etc.

Almost immediately he is meet with women chiming in to tell him their horror stories of how they had to "adapt" to a man's world to fit in and only now they can truly express themselves.

All the while they can't see this new trans guy has taken their day from them.

They've even changed the meaning of equity already. Impressive.
