Nah. I’d just tell them that their socks are mismatched or trigger some other weird superstition and they’d be toast.
Look…I actually like baseball and actually was a club level guy myself at LSU. But with all love for baseball, even baseball players have to admit they they are weird at every level. Fun game to watch, but weird people. And to suggest that baseball players are going to “fold” me in half? Nobody…and I mean nobody…ever said “I picked on the wrong guy…turned out he was a former baseball player.”
But club level in a sport that exists as a varsity sport is…well…lame.
What’s next…a thread about club band?
