I didn't go for a set because I know what I actually use and none of the sets match what I needed, but my daily drivers are stainless clad from Made In. I have the 10" skillet, 12" skillet, 12" straight-sided frying pan w/ lid, and 2 qt and 5 qt sauciers w/ lids. I've only had them since Christmas, but so far I've found them very similar to the All-Clad my buddy has. I think his pans heat up faster, and also cool down faster. Construction feels solid, I like that the handles don't get hot, and I fully expect them to last the rest of my life. They're not much cheaper than All-Clad anymore though, especially when you don't buy the sets that are on sale and go for individual pieces.
