I said average cap hit, which reflects the actual amount paid over the contract. Just to be clear, I'm saying the average of all cap hits of the contract the team realized. The money actually paid to a player will be accounted on the cap, one way or another, which is reflected in the total cap hits.

First of all, the starting QB contracts should not be based on a population of all starters. Remove rookie contracts and it's a legitimate comparison (since Rookies don't get market rate due to CBA manipulation).

Second, as shown above, the article didn't use good data.

So, a bad population to compare + bad data compared. Quality output is guaranteed.
