This is true, but for lots of reasons besides this case. I’m not sure why so many of you can’t comprehend this deal.
NOPD takes a gun off the streets where it shouldn’t have been to begin with, and Nabors is free to go with a lesson learned and some inconvenience.
Nobody gets hurt and nobody has their life ruined. This is one of the few times I think the city and state got it exactly right.

And he can go buy another gun. Lesson learned. People are wanting to make this into more than it is. A misdemeanor charge that was dropped.
