re: Most expensive/cheapest vehicle you've purchased?

Cheapest was my first car that wasn’t a hand me down. A 7 year old BMW 320i for $4500. Family wise, I remember my Dad buying a Pinto Station wagon from a guy in the office next to his for $200. That was about 1979 probably. Sold it for about $750 after driving it for a few weeks. Was a fun 4 speed stick shift.
