Holy shite, I thought Skenes was big. Is this kid really 6-8?

I assumed that Hurd would be a weekend starter. I like Shores too

I am too. I am looking forward to the Supers, and Omaha, when we have Shores, Skenes and Hurd dominating for six or seven innings, then come in with Cooper, Little, Floyd if the game is still close. That will be tough to beat, especially tough to beat twice.

I just watched some pitching from Perfect game All american game. This kid is a little inconsistent with his fast ball but it's 95 mph plus. The other 2 pitches have serous run. Basically he throws a 95 mph and then he comes with a 77 mph Change or curve. Whatever "IT" is he has it within him. The kid just needs to learn how to use it.

Shores is going to throw harder than 95 today. He has sat at 97 mph most of the spring and hit 99 several times in scrimmages. He may hit 100 today if juiced up with adrenaline.

He is the most advanced of all the freshman pitchers. And he’s 2” taller and about 10-15 lbs heavier than Skenes.

He is listed at 6'8" but Jay recently said he was 6'9". He isn't lanky either.

I remember an interview when he was still a recruit and Jay said he checks all the boxes as a player, person and teammate.

I would not be surprised if he is a legit 6-9 Wild.

Solo,

I understand there will be some coach's committee meetings in the fall. I bring a quest if you are interested.

Money likely doesn’t even pitch this weekend and he started as our ace last year
Let that sink in
Cooper was really impressive yesterday as well
I like idea of a lefty to break up weekend rotation
Gives sec teams a different look

Yes. He was hitting 100 in the scrimmage last week. I expect to see triple digits in the first inning.

Let’s see what happens when a really good MLB pitching coach has time with him.

Me too bawwww!!! It’s crazy to think how good this class will be in 2 years. But this year with Crews, Morgan and Thompson in their money year is gonna be insane!

I just remember when Crews, Morgan and Thompson were freshman we were like year 3 is the OMAHA run! Can’t even imagine with these new group of freshman.

Position players:
Neal
Jones
Kling
Guidry
Frey

Pitchers:
Shores
Noot
Bucknham
Herring
Moffett
