I read a CNN article saying the one shot down in Canada was 200 feet tall. Some reports make it sound like it was a little soup can floating about.

And really, why are these things even allowed over our US airspace? What is they are carrying a bioweapon payload, or some type of nuclear material to drop?

Obviously, the govt would see these way before they were over OUR land/airspace. Knock them out hundreds of miles before the are directly over the USA. Best case is they are just surveillance (which is bad enough), but what if they are spreading some type of virus engineered in Wuhan, or worse?

Do you think the CCP or Russia would allow these to float over from coast to coast?

I’m pretty sure I read the same article. They were talking about the balloon shot down in the Atlantic, not the one shot down in Canada. It was just an odd pivot to the original Chinese balloon.
