Copper is closing at the end of the month for a four month renovation. They started spraying out the greens to get ready. It will be in rough shape till they close.

They are just sanding them to try and keep them playable for a few weeks. Round up goes on every Monday till March. Then they get dug up.

A friend of mine is in the golf club management business and owns and manages several courses in LA and MS and he just made a presentation to Copper Mill and if he gets them, he'll definitely turn it around.

I’m excited that CM seems committed to getting the course back to where it was originally. The original owner’s son selling the driving range for lots was the major first domino that caused the downturn and a huge mistake. It’s still the best golf property (minus the bluffs) in the region with a layout that makes good use of it.

Anyone played Santa Maria lately?
I usually try to play it a few times a year. Last year, we could just never get a decent tee time out there. would like to get out there soon.
