Wife and I are planning an anniversary trip. July works best for us with jobs and kids. Currently I'm looking at Roatan or Isla.
Been to Isla and stayed at Zoetry but never on north beach. Never been to Roatan. Wife is more of the all inclusive type but I'm wanting something different. We did excellence cancun 2 years ago in late June and couldn't get in water because of sargassum. Any other places I should look at? We want beach with clear water and good food/drinks.

Aruba has had clear water every time I’ve been there. Several large resorts there; some are all-inclusive.
Roatan/Belize is great as well if you prefer a more lush location.

Just know that both are hot as blue blazes in July with no wind unless you’re unfortunate and get a hurricane. Been to both in July.
I’d do St. John for a more temperate climate.

Roatan is great. Maybe they have some all inclusive type places but I liked just going all around the island. Alot of cool stuff to see and do. Beaches were decent.
Check out curacao also. I really enjoyed the food scene there. Alot of nice beaches also. Rent a car and go around the island there are alot of small beaches to just chill. Again though not all inclusive but its a nice island.
