Intel designs subpar chips compared to AMD and NVDA, and their fab is subpar compared to TSMC. It’s the worst of both worlds.

How far they have fallen. When i worked there 1999-2001 they were the best in the biz.
AMD was still trying to figure out why their fab process was failing at such a high rate - turns out someone in receiving was opening the wafers in a non controlled environment to make sure the count was correct.
