If it is true how disingenious is this and show recruits we are just saying anything to get them on campus

quote:

I felt that Les Miles' hint that Reuben Randle would be given a shot at QB ("see him take a few snaps") might be the strategy to finally sway RR to LSU. Furthermore, I don't think anyone is going to replace Julio Jones until he decides to go to the NFL.

Did he mean sheperd or is he seriously talking about randle?

He probably meant Randle. He's been having some quality success at the QB position this season.

So now you have two highly ranked athletes coming in trying to get the same role. I can't see both coming here trying to be qbs. One of em is not coming. i would bet on RR going west or south to miami.

On Miles radio show he was asked about a certain recruit from up north and he stated that he would love to have that particular guy as a WR, QB and a player to just get the ball to as often as possible.

I have been very impressed from what little I have seen from Randle - I think he would be an outstanding qb!

I agree. Murphy, while a great athlete, is just not the player to use in that role. Id like to see Keiland at QB and Trindon at RB in the wild hog.

Nobody is saying he should be a full time QB.

Just put him at QB to run the wild tiger a few times a game.

what do we do with the #1 athletic prospect in the nation who is set first on playing qb. I think this situation is going to turn one of them off.
