STFU RANTARDS..

The guy is a RS freshman, he played bad against the no.1 team in the nation, but also had some good throws, including a nice pass to d.byrd..you people continue to amaze me with "get rid of this garbage qb" comments, even though the poor guy is just a frosh trying his arse off to help the team win, and just because he gets rattled(which comes with being new to the system, being a freshman, etc.) you guys bash him like it's the end of the world..

so what if jj makes some bad throws?? What if JJ had been named the starter, threw some awful passes like a lot of freshman do,would you all be calling for his head also?

For the last GD time, give the dude a break..we weren't going to go undefeated this season..a 3rd NC is nice but that does not mean we will stay on top like some delusional bama fans think they forever will..it's the SEC, and we have a freshman at QB, so don't get all surprised like you never expected any of the interceptions or bad plays to happen..let it go..

And for the love of all things with Jesus' name in it..can we PLEASE STOP BOOING LEE??? I mean im sure the students don't care..seeing as most are drunk as shite..but that would be pretty acceptable if the guy was a JR. or SR. and just plain sucked..fact is..he just hasnt lived up to his potential yet..

The guy has a rocket for an arm, and though he makes some bad decisions, i beleive that his game management skills will change with time and he will be the next flynn, mauck type(except with a better arm).

Don't quit on him yet

I WANT to believe, but he hasn't improved at all from the Auburn game.
SAME mistakes in every game. Focuses on ONE receiver. Does not seem to recognize blitzes and check out. Yes, he has all the physical tools. Great arm and size, but I am not sure he has the mental game.

He played equally as bad against Tulane, which tells me that regardless of competition, he's just not very good.

I'd be asking to see what Lee could do. It's not some out of this world idea to want to look at another QB when the current one is so poor.

Agree, except Bama is a game we should've won. That's the first game that Lee REALLY cost us. Single handedly, he lost it.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa, I don't think anyone booed him Saturday. He got cheers during the opening lineups and wasn't even really booed after terrible throws. He will get booed against Troy though, sadly.

Because he's white, eh? Dude has a Marcus Randall arm and brain without the mobility. Good thing is, Marcus was a senior, so hopefully Lee will improve.

I won't, but I will say this, Lee does not give us an opportunity to win right now. All a QB has to do when push comes to shove, is manage the football game. Jarrett Lee does not manage the game at this point in the season. He may one day, but he doesn't right now. We didn't need Tim Tebow to beat Bama this weekend, but we did need someone to keep the mistakes and positives even. He didn't. His mistakes greatly dwarfed his positives, which is why we lost.

Compared to Stafford's freshman year, Lee is positively stellar. I don't know what people were expecting after he sucked arse against Appy State and North Texas and the first half of Auburn. He's gotten better, but not that much better. So what?

He might be slighter worse than Chris Leak in 2003, but really, what other freshman QB has come in and started in the SEC and lit the world on fire? Josh Booty?

Tommy Hodson was the best freshman QB ever in the SEC, and there will probably never be another one like him. Let's be happy with what we've got--which is a QB who just might throw for more yards than any other freshman in LSU history.
