That was my first reaction to the video but the article states the killer jumped out of his car and started stabbing the dude while he was on the ground. How many people are going to get involved with a crazy dude stabbing someone? I would like to think I would try to be a hero in that situation but it's a tough call for a typical motorist driving home.

Unless you're able to shoot him from a safe distance, stay far far away, and flee from a knife.
