How does this attack compare to the Ahmad Arbery case?
That was a national news story that is already used as a cultural reference point and taught as a case study of racism in universities.

The issue with the Arbery case is that it took months for any charges to be filed. Not sure if this Vanroy person has been charged, though I assume he has. If not, then yes, they are similar.
